There are various health effects of 9/11 first responders and survivors. 500,000 people were in the area near Ground Zero when the terrorist attacks occurred on September 11th, 2001. The World Trade Center Health Program (WTC Health Program) has announced that Managed Care Advisors (MCA)-Sedgwick will replace Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) as the vendor who administers the program’s Nationwide Provider Network (NPN).

Last week the IRS updated its public guidance  on the “Tax Relief for Victims of Terrorists Attacks” in order to ensure that all 9/11 survivors and their families are aware that they may be entitled to a tax break on their disability payments including social security disability.
